The Clinical Counsellor will provide therapy using a variety of modalities within Clinical Services. Qualifications A Master of Social Work or Psychology degree is required. Eligible for supervised practice licensing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario or Ontario College of Social Service Workers and Social Workers. substantial experience utilizing a variety of treatment modalities in the field of Mental Health/Addictions Services particularly relating to Anishinabek clients; Candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
The ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Counselling and Clinical Support Services Manager in relation to service requirements; is a registered member, in good standing, of a professional body such as the College of Social Service Workers and Social Workers, or College of Registered Psychotherapists, etc.; a valid Class “G” Driver’s License; If you experience issues with our online application system please apply directly at recruitment@dilico.
