The award-winning agency delivers game-changing campaigns across multiple verticals and industries in the areas of media relations, influencer relations, content, events, experiential, paid media, social and digital marketing.About the role: P&C is currently recruiting for a dynamic and confident Senior Account Specialist who has done a little bit of everything. As a Senior Account Specialist, you will help manage accounts and support coordinators with pitching and sourcing wherever needed.Roles and responsibilities of a Senior Account Specialist include (but are not limited to) the following: Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving 360 media landscape and actively foster relationships with relevant media and influencersProvide support on day-to-day client communications and serve as an effective account lead on select accounts with limited support from Account ManagerDevelop media and influencer lists, and pitch effectively to deliver exceptional program resultsSeed influencers for program campaigns and negotiate influencer contractsDevelop press releases, media advisories, key messages and editorial calendarsCoordinate events with ninja-like precision and attention to detailParticipate in new business pitchesTrack hours and expensesAbout you:A post-graduate degree in public relations, marketing communications, journalism, business or similar background3+ years of directly related experience; an agency background is a MUSTExperience working with lifestyle AND corporate accounts/clientsCorporate communications experience will be considered an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong technical and creative writing skills are a mustStrong media relations skills and relationships, and track record of successfully delivering measurable resultsExcellent organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects within established deadlinesBenefits: Salary: competitive and commensurate with experienceBenefits packageHybrid work environmentA flexible, collaborative, positive, and fast-paced work environmentMany opportunities for professional development Birthdays offPaid vacation + Seven (7) discretionary bonus day long weekends coinciding with Family Day, Easter, the summer statutory holidays (Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday and Labour Day), and Thanksgiving + Office closure during the holiday season (from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve).Please note that we appreciate the interest of all candidates, however ONLY those under consideration will be contacted.
