OverviewWe are looking for a sales and customer service oriented person with a strong background in heavy equipment, particularly agricultural and farm equipment. Preference to any one who’s a licensed Mechanic or has experience working with the equipment. As Service Manager, this customer-facing position’s ideal candidate will be a solid leader and build a foundation of accountability and promote quality work and exceptional customer service within the service department.Manage, oversee and delegate effectively to your service team and staff-Planning, administration and general management and day to day operations and supervision of staff-Oversee work directed by team leaders and direct reports-Signing authority of internal work orders-Ensure bottom line of profitability for Services provided-Solutions for personnel turnover and staffing needs-Maintain and ensure health, safety and cleanliness and security of shop and work environment-Focus on and achieve high customer satisfaction and identify areas of improvement and opportunity -Mentor and motivate your team and staff and create a positive culture that promotes open communicationSalary of 80-100k plus benefits. Relocation assistance will be considered for a qualified candidate.Requirements-High level of knowledge and technical proficiency of agriculture materials and equipment-Previous service manager experience -Strong communication skills -Strong computer skills and proficiency with knowledge of of Microsoft Office Suite-Proficiency of labour and billing rates, inventory control-High level of leadership and management skills-Licensed Mechanic preferred-Experience with equipment brands such as CASE IH, New Holland, John Deere a strong asset Apply Now
