START DATE: ASAP LOCATION: PCK Intellectual Property ("PCK") is a leading boutique IP firm known for its exceptionally strong patent drafting practice, acting directly before the USPTO and WIPO. and Europe, protecting innovations in software, telecommunications, medical devices, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and more. Our co-founders are authors of Canadian Patent Law (5th edition), a treatise cited by the Supreme Court of Canada, reflecting our thought leadership in IP law.

This role offers significant autonomy while benefiting from the full support of our Toronto-based team.
Spearhead PCK's presence in KW, managing relationships with existing clients and fostering new connections within the tech community.
Serve as a trusted advisor to startups, scale-ups, and established tech companies, aligning PCK's services with their IP needs.
Engage with Communitech and the broader KW innovation ecosystem to build PCK's brand and expand our reach.
Perform patentability searches, landscape analyses, and FTO assessments.
Registered patent agent (CPATA Class 1 or 2 preferred); applications from foreign-licensed agents with strong experience and a willingness to pursue CPATA licensing are welcome.
Engineering, computer science, or scientific background (degree required).
Qualifications as a lawyer and/or trademark agent are an asset but not a requirement.
