The Builders Tech team plays a crucial role in the Hippo Builder Insurance Agency, partnering with leading new home construction companies in America. As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented software engineers, collaborate with Product Managers, and drive the vision for our software products to maximize profitability and growth.

Mentor senior and junior engineers for higher impact and teamwork.

Manage project roadmap with Product Managers to balance technical excellence and user benefit.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and show technical leadership with a data-driven approach.

Relevant work experience in software development.

Experience in people management and leading successful teams.

Proven ability to build teams, influence cross-functional teams, and drive technical proficiency.

High level of technical proficiency with Hippos tech stack (Javascript, React, Python).

Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and systems design.

Experience with database systems, particularly PostgreSQL and BigQuery.
