THE ROLE As a Sales Clerk, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You assist in the set-up of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments and provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered. The Sales Clerk may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
Food Handling Certification, as required
In electronics, computers equipment, furniture and appliances
In sales and merchandising
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS French Essential
