Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Automation Developer(Phone Connectivity) - Senior. Hourly pay range $ 64.Our client is looking for a dynamic individual with automation development experience in wireless connection technologies such as Bluetooth, Projection Services (Android Auto & CarPlay) and Wi-Fi, who has excellent analytical and debugging skills and can accelerate and improve quality of their infotainment system. Your specific duties as a Automation Developer(Phone Connectivity) - Senior will include:
Test software under real conditions in vehicles
Work closely with development and test teams to understand feature functionality and test requirements
Develop automated test scripts and related tools in Python to verify new feature functionality
Support existing automation systems with bug fixes and updates as needed
Maintain lab test nodes and phones that executes hundreds of tests every day
Ensure automated test execution is running smoothly
Perform automated test results analysis, root cause issues and validate fixes
Collaborate closely with other software testers, product owners, and developers in an agile environment.
5+ years work experience; 3+ years experience in Python development
~ Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field

Experience with Python automated testing environment and frameworks such as slash or pytest
Experience with UI test frameworks such as Squish, Appium
Experience with Android app development and testing
Experience with iOS development and testing , XCODE build
Detail oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects
Self-motivated and passionate about software quality
Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
