Job Description:
Inference Labs is currently seeking a Project Manager to lead key strategic initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Decentralized networks, and Web3. This role involves managing and facilitating complex projects across diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, strategic ecosystems, and composable projects, as well as collaborating with other industry partners. The ideal candidate will masterfully manage project integrations within Web3, machine learning, and cryptography, breaking down complex objectives into clear, actionable plans and ensure the successful completion of projects. This position is pivotal for advancing decentralizing principles in AI, especially through the implementation of Proof-of-Inference.
The successful candidate will have previous work experience with blockchain software development and decentralized technologies, supplemented by exceptional organizational abilities, strategic acumen, and proficient stakeholder management skills. A solid understanding of artificial intelligence and cryptographic technologies is essential. A keen interest in decentralized platforms and an understanding of decentralized finance and fintech are also important. As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating risks to ensure that all projects are in alignment with the broader goals of Inference Labs and significantly contribute to our innovative trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume a multifaceted role by working alongside colleagues at Inference Labs to set objectives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage the rollout of new releases, all while ensuring these initiatives are supported by effective marketing strategies.
- Work closely with founders and engineering stakeholders to ensure the successful launch and ongoing support of dApps, ecosystems, and Inference Labs protocols.
- Monitor project status, identify potential risks, clearly articulate issues, and engage proactively with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely solutions.
- Secure stakeholder agreement and implement solutions tailored to meet community needs in the ongoing development of projects.
- Oversee the daily operations of large-scale, distributed programs that are crypto-focused, technical, open source, and cross-functional.
- Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to pinpoint key gaps and opportunities for launching new initiatives at Inference Labs.
- Produce articles, assist with documentation, and disseminate insights on industry challenges and developments. Gather requirements for ecosystem and partnership agreements.
- Assume responsibility for testing the product as part of project management duties, ensuring that all releases meet the high standards expected by the community and align with strategic goals.
Qualification:
Inference Labs is looking for creative and passionate individuals who have a strong track record of involvement in recent web3 projects and display an unrelenting drive to tackle challenges and develop innovative solutions. We value candidates who skillfully blend technical expertise with a strategic business approach. Rather than seeking traditional PMP credentials, we prefer someone who is adaptable, open to embracing new ideas, and capable of designing efficient workflows that promote open developer participation. We prioritize fostering an environment akin to open source software development, where collaboration and idea-sharing stand at the forefront, rather than rigid, process-driven approaches.
Big kudos if you have deep native crypto experience specifically in DeFi, Infra, or Security.

Full time salaried, negotiable based on skills and experience.
Important to note that actual compensation can be influenced by a host of factors such as your educational background, professional training, unique credentials, the skill set you possess, your location, and your experience. High end of the range would be a candidate with previous experience working on a large scale crypto protocol with previous AI exposure.
