What you will be doing

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer who is keen to join acollaborative and inclusive team. Based at our Glenbrook Site and reporting tothe Casting Maintenance Superintendent,you will maximize plant Reliability through the upkeep and ongoing performanceimprovements of the plant’s operational assets and ancillary equipment.

Your heavy industrial engineering knowledge and experience alongwith analysis of equipment failure modes will be utilized to enhance thedevelopment of preventative maintenance strategies You will also be developingand implementing End of Life strategy for ageing equipment and overseeingequipment improvement and continuous improvement projects.

What you will bring to the role

Our ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who bringswell-developed relationship skills, can work to tight deadlines, is keen tocontribute as part of a collaborative team and works comfortably in a continuousimprovement work environment.

You will also be a logical systems thinker, strong in yourproblem-solving ability and with a natural aptitude for quick learning. Thesafety of our people is at the core of our work, therefore a soundunderstanding and uncompromising attitude to safety procedures and processes iskey to performing well in this role.

In addition to yourdegree qualification in relevant engineering discipline, ideally you will have experience in the following:

  • 5+ year experience in a heavy industry, ideallymanufacturing.
  • Knowledgeable of RCM principles and their application.
  • Knowledgeable of SAP and PMO maintenance systems
  • Failure Data Analysis and implementing CI projects.

This is a day position, but applicants should be aware thatthere will be requirement for some out of hours work to attend repairs and shutwork when required.
