Ensure the industry's positions on key technical and regulatory issues are developed and communicated effectively to governments, members, and stakeholders.
Lead and support efforts to identify, prioritize, and resolve key science and regulatory issues, advancing the interests of CropLife Canada's members.
From project committees to task forces, lead the charge, ensuring goals are met and initiatives drive impactful results. As an ideal candidate you have experience working in an industry association with regulatory and technical complexities like ours. You bring together the best of two worlds: you have the technical knowledge to understand pest management policy and regulatory frameworks; A bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture, environmental science, public policy, or a related field.
~Experience in an agricultural industry association is a significant asset.
~ Strong understanding of regulatory processes and policy development and implementation.
~ A history of leading and executing projects successfully, coupled with a passion for driving impactful results.
~ The ability to inspire and influence others, making complex ideas and technical details easy to understand.
~ Exceptional project management and prioritization skills, with a keen eye for detail.
~ Adaptable, agile, resilient and autonomous – perfectly suited to a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every day brings new opportunities.
