Cohere seeks an experienced Senior Product Security Engineer to enhance the security of AI products. Ensure safety for sensitive data through rigorous evaluations and hands-on testing. In this hands-on role, you will tackle unique security challenges related to AI-powered solutions. This position focuses on reviewing architecture, conducting threat models, and performing in-depth vulnerability assessments. You will collaborate closely with engineers to implement secure defaults and share security expertise across teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead security architecture reviews and code assessments
- Evaluate risks associated with AI features like prompt injection
- Conduct threat modeling for new capabilities and systems
- Perform hands-on investigations of vulnerabilities
- Develop scalable security guardrails and best practices
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Experience in leading security reviews
- Understanding of common vulnerability classes
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
