Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CMT Technician - Structures (ACS) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhauls specific to the CC130J aircraft's structural components. Your primary focus will be to ensure all tasks are performed according to industry standards and company protocols, including meticulous documentation.

This position requires immediate Controlled Goods security clearance, hence applications are limited to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Major Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute repairs, modifications, and inspections in strict adherence to customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), and Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), among other relevant standards.
  • Guarantee the safe and serviceable return of customer aircraft by following applicable manuals and guidelines.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork, documentation, and reporting associated with repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior technicians to enhance efficiency and skill development.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

Core Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Specific expertise in aircraft structural manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and modification.
  • Ability to uphold and enforce quality control standards.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ supervisory techniques, including establishing work standards and providing constructive coaching.
  • Proven ability to manage labor hours and workflow to optimize productivity.
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering approved by TCCA or the relevant governing body, or equivalent military training.
  • Minimum of 48 months' experience performing duties within the structural trade.
  • Holder of Transport Canada AME-S license or equivalent DND certification.
  • Previous experience with CC130 B-H & J Aircraft DND / Military is advantageous.
  • Capability of obtaining Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance.
