Our client, a successful retailer with 120+ stores across the US and Canada, supported by a corporate user base of 50-60 and over 700 total users, including store staff is looking for an IT Senior Analyst Recently acquired by a private equity firm, they are poised for growth and looking for a dynamic individual to join our IT team.

Position Overview:
Seeking a Senior IT Analyst to join their team of two at our Etobicoke Head Office. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 2.5 days per week in the office (Monday, Wednesday, and alternating Fridays). The role combines helpdesk Level 2 support (50%) with responsibilities in servers, cloud technologies, networking, and security (50%) . It's perfect for someone who thrives in a smaller team environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to work on a variety of IT tasks and projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Active Directory & Cloud Administration

    • Lead the migration of on-premises AD to Azure AD (Entra).
    • Manage Azure AD and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
    • Support application, file share, and workload migrations to Azure or AWS.

  • Networking & Security

    • Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls and HP switches across stores and corporate offices.
    • Implement and monitor security policies, VPNs, and firewall rules.

  • VoIP Management - MUST HAVE*

    • Administer and support Zoom VoIP systems across corporate and store locations.
    • Troubleshoot VoIP issues and provide user support.

  • IT Support & Collaboration

    • Provide Level 2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, networking, and ERP systems.
    • Address tickets promptly and escalate issues to vendors as needed.
    • Document configurations and procedures to ensure operational continuity.

  • General IT Operations

    • Monitor and maintain servers and systems for optimal performance.
    • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
    • Administer IT security systems and conduct periodic security audits.

What You Bring:
Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of IT experience, including L1/L2 user support.
  • Experience with Zoom VoIP systems.
  • Strong systems administration experience (Windows Servers, M365, MFA, AD migrations to Azure AD).
  • Cloud administration expertise (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, switches, and networks (Fortinet, HP, or similar).
  • VoIP configuration and support experience (Zoom or similar).
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like FreshDesk or FreshService.
  • Ability to work in the Etobicoke office 2-3 days per week on alternating shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 10:30 AM-7:00 PM) with an on-call rotation every 2 weeks.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Network administration in multi-site environments.
  • Certifications in relevant IT domains (e.g., Azure, AWS, Cisco, or Fortinet).
  • Cybersecurity knowledge.
