Elevate Your Career as a Wellsite Geologist Join a leading organization in the energy sector as an Offshore Wellsite Geologist, where your expertise will play a vital role in supporting drilling operations and ensuring accurate geological data collection and analysis. Role Overview Geological Data Analysis: Collect and analyze drill cuttings, record detailed lithological descriptions, monitor mud returns and gas levels, identify formation tops, and assess reservoir quality. Reporting: Prepare and submit daily geological reports and striplogs, deliver comprehensive end-of-well reports, and ensure timely transfer of all data and reports to the onshore team. Communication & Coordination: Maintain consistent communication with the onshore operations geologist, participate in daily morning calls, and collaborate with mudlogging service providers and offshore drilling personnel. Skills & Qualifications Offshore experience in wellsite geology. Proficiency in drill cuttings analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Wellview, Powerlog, and Petrel software. Knowledge of Ariba for sourcing and contract storage (optional). Understanding of SAP systems for P2P process (optional). Education & Experience Minimum 15 years of offshore experience in wellsite geology. Eligible for registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with PEGNL.
