Collaboration: Co-work with layout, digital, and system teams to optimize designs and create exceptional solutions.
Client Engagement: Discussions and presentations with clients keep us at the forefront of IC design.
You'll be working on state-of-the-art TIA and Driver designs for silicon photonics applications operating at very high speeds. You'll be responsible for active circuit development, design, and sign-off in a technical leadership role.
We're looking for designers to work on electronic circuit design which interface directly with optical elements, hence experience with both electrical and photonic circuit design is a prime focus for this role
~ Minimum of a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on IC design.
~ Experience: 3+ years of design experience, including knowledge of Optical front-end receivers and transmitters (TIAs, Drivers) , CTLE, DFE, ADC, DAC, oscillators, PLLs, and more.
~ SerDes/High-Speed Expertise: If you’ve tackled a SerDes or high-speed circuit design (
~10GS/s), that’s a significant asset.
~ Multiple silicon designs taped out with measured results? Photonics design (PD, MRM, MZ elements) experience a significant asset
~ Co-design and co-simulation of photonics and electronics experience a big plus
~ Coding Skills: Comfortable with scripting, programming, and tools like MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
~ Integrated Circuit Design Experience: Only applicants with multiple IC tape-outs will be considered.
