Permanent Position Overview:
Finning is the Worlds largest Caterpillar dealer. Coordinates the gathering of information and administers the communication of timelines with multiple financial and operational areas to consolidate data and provide insights
Prepares financial data and summary information for use in management reporting for management presentations across the organization; Summarizes large amounts of data and translates the numbers to tell the story
Prepare management reports, presentations, and Key Performance Indicators 
Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through customized reports that facilitate the performance analysis of business targets, identify areas of risk and opportunities in collaboration with the business, and projections
Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in decision making. Manage and/or participate in small projects and provide subject matter expertise
Excellent time management skills such as tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
Advanced Excel skills including ability to use lookups and pivot tables
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
Knowledge of Financial cycle – income statement, balance sheet, cash cycle and solid foundation with general accounting standards/IFRS
Demonstrates understanding of the link between analysis and business impact; Maintains a solid understanding of systems to support analysis and reporting.
Prepare reports and Key Performance Indicators. Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in decision making

A significant focus is placed on continuous innovation, utilizing analytical tools to provide data driven insights. Drive automation
Support the business in gathering data and insights to facilitate the evaluation of business cases, provide financial and accounting expertise in the valuation of business cases
Manage and/or participate in small projects and provide subject matter expertise
Bachelor of Accounting/Finance
CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent finance/accounting designation
At least 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role in Finance or Accounting
Relevant experience with financial analysis, financial modelling, profitability analysis, forecasting and budgeting, strategic planning
