Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Role Overview
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Corporate Controller and the team in managing the company's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing consolidated financial statements, and reporting financial results to top management and other stakeholders.
Specific Responsibilities:
Financial Statements and Consolidation
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, while ensuring quality control and compliance with International Fianncial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”);
- Review financial reporting package submitted by divisions and prepare consolidation journal entries;
- Participate in the preparation of the Management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A);
- Prepare, validate and reconcile various financial reports and accounting schedules;
- Participate in the year-end audit process;
- Prepare and/or review various internal and external reports and presentations.
- Assess the accounting implications of complex and non-routine transactions and prepare related documentations and memos.
Tax
- Participate in the preparation of the tax provisions and tax returns;
- Participate in the preparation of annual financial statements for all the legal entities across the organization.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA);
- 5 + years of relevant experience in industry and/or accounting firm;
- Knowledge of financial controls and accounting standards;
- Bilingual in English and French (oral and written);
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
