Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status.
We are searching for a full-time Settlement Worker to provide settlement information and referral services as well as programming activities for seniors.

Provide one-on-one counselling support to seniors, including assessment, information and orientation at CCS offices and other community partner locations.
Help seniors to develop personalized goals and provide follow-up support
Organize, plan and facilitate group activities to address seniors’ needs including digital literacy, health and wellness.
Facilitate activities to enhance social connections and interaction among seniors from diverse background
Develop and implement community outreach plans to promote the services and activities.
Maintain and update all client information in the OCMS database.
Social Service Work diploma or Social Work degree from recognized institution or equivalent training in community work sectors
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the settlement and/or senior focused initiatives.
Knowledge of community resources available in Scarborough, and Fluency in a second language relevant to the community is an asset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Proficient in Google platforms (slack, forms, surveys, meet etc.), virtual meeting tools, social media
Hours of work : 35 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime is required
