Job Description: Journeyman Automotive Mechanic
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Position Overview: We are currently seeking a certified Journeyman Automotive Technician for our esteemed client in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for a highly skilled individual who is passionate about automotive repair and maintenance and is committed to providing exceptional service quality. Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all services meet quality standards
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues and propose viable solutions
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of all repair orders
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and attend training sessions to enhance technical skills
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Certified Journeyman Automotive Technician with a valid Red Seal endorsement
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and workplace regulations
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
