Working closely with nursing this position is directly accountable to the Occupational Therapist (OT) / Physio Therapist (PT) and Resident Program Manager. Implements the maintenance of patient programming under the direction of the OT/PT.
Communicate changes in resident abilities and function to the OT/PT, the unit nurses and the Nursing Rehab lead, to complete the program assigned.
Help residents learn skills needed for daily living to improve or maintain resident’s abilities to function independently. Knowledge / experience working within Rehabilitation and/ or Health Care geriatric population for both well and the cognitively impaired.
