Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with a client located in Nova Scotia. Ideally looking for experience with utilities or other government organizations within Canada someone with the mentioned required skills and experience, in particular in large organizations.

Requirement/Qualification:

  • Preference will be given to certified individuals (CBAP or PMI-PBA) with five (5) years of Business Analysis experience delivering projects for utilities or other government organizations within Canada.
  • Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in elicitation and document of requirements using task and workflow analysis; Stakeholder Management to analyze information needs, functional requirements and process improvements; and supporting the change management effort.
  • Proven analytical skillsets to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements; Communication and collaboration skills with IT team members and other subject matter experts to establish the solution vision and resolve issues; and participation in the Quality Assurance (QA) process in a cloud-based or on-premise environment. Previous experience with Cyber Security is considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT/Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized university/institution or equivalent experience is desired; CBAP or PMI-PBA certification and Utility industry experience is considered an asset; SAFe®, PMI-DASM™, or CSM is considered an asset; and Prosci CMP® is considered an asset.
