Lead various impact assessment and permitting projects in Eastern Canada and work closely with senior impact assessment specialists to develop large impact studies. 
Support assessment of impacts of development projects on the socio-economic environment, including Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, land and resource use, cultural heritage, landscape, economy, community services and infrastructure, and community health / well-being / public safety. Designing and conducting primary and secondary research involving qualitative and quantitative data;
Analyzing the data to characterize the socio-economic environment, assess potential impacts and develop mitigation / monitoring / management measures.
Develop, manage and report on engagement processes involving communities, stakeholders and Indigenous groups.
Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong supportive relationships with co-workers, clients and project partners to successfully execute project deliverables.
Mentor and support junior staff. 
Project Management
Manage project execution, including tracking project metrics (e.g., tasks, schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures) using project scheduling and cost control tools.
Support business development efforts, including potential client / prospect identification, proposal writing and client-facing activities.

Minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in social or environmental sciences or related field. 
Experience working with stakeholders and Indigenous communities.
Experience in provincial (preferably in Eastern Canada) and federal impact assessment.
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams).
Excellent writing, communication, digital and time management skills.
Knowledge of and interest in relevant fields in the social sciences.
Ability to consistently deliver on time high-quality reports, analyses, proposals and other materials.
Proficiency in written and oral French* and English.
