Permanent Position Overview:
Are you interested in taking the first step to a rewarding sales career? Then consider a Sales Intern role with Finning (Canada). The Finning Internship program includes invaluable on-the-job training and online coursework. After the 18 – 24 month internship is completed, the successful graduate will be able to apply for a sales position at any Finning (Canada) branch. As part of Finning International Inc. you will be part of a global sales force with limitless opportunities to succeed and progress.
Reporting directly to the Product and Services Sales Manager, the Sales Intern will be responsible for increasing customer loyalty, and assisting the outside sales team with processes, quoting and support. This internship will be focused on general line equipment, general construction products, product support and rentals.
Assist the branch sales force with demos, job studies, walk-ins, open houses, trade shows and research related to sales and paperwork.
Work closely with the sales team and perform coverage when needed.
Complete the Finning sales internship program and other Caterpillar courses.
Assist in the preparation of sales and service quotations.
Post-secondary education in marketing or sales is an asset. If you have a strong work ethic and some work experience this will be considered as well.
Industry knowledge, Caterpillar or competitive product knowledge will be considered assets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Previous sales experience will be considered an asset.
This position will work a Monday to Friday day shift
