Master's degree in Nutrition, Foodservice, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or closely related discipline or will meet degree requirement by start date.
# At least 2 years work experience in culinary, foods/food service management, food science, or nutrition/dietetics.
# A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
# Ability to work on-campus as this position cannot be performed remotely.
# The ability to travel, as needed, to various locations, including food laboratory locations, is required, though anticipated to be infrequent (%).

Additional Qualifications for the Rank of Senior Instructor I
# Sustained record of exceptional teaching, advising and service, at the college- or university level, as evidenced by student evaluations of teaching.
# 75% - Teaching and Advising: Teach food and nutrition courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
#Serve as the Coordinator for the Nutrition and Food service, Culinary, and Food Systems degree option (NFCFS).
#10% - Service: Participate actively as a member of the university community and one's professional community including administrative committees, search committees, and university governance activities.
