Now Hiring: Senior Data Engineer — 12-Month Contract (Toronto, ON | Hybrid) We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of large-scale data pipelines powering our LLM, GenAI, and agent-based applications. In this role, you’ll own end-to-end data engineering initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready data systems. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and guide junior data engineers. Architect and build scalable, reliable data pipelines for LLM and AI-driven workloads. Support predictive modeling, ML, and GenAI applications with robust data infrastructure. Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements. Build ETL/ELT workflows integrating structured & unstructured data via APIs. Ensure best practices, documentation, and high engineering standards across the team. Qualifications: 5+ years in Data Engineering (2+ years supporting LLMs/agent-based systems preferred). Strong expertise in Python, SQL, ETL frameworks, and API-based integrations. Experience with data modeling & cloud storage (BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, etc.). Familiarity with ML/LLM workflows and data pipelines for AI applications.
