*Location: *7725 4th St, Burnaby, BC V3N 5B6

*Position Summary:*

- Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to residents.

- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

- Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs.

- Provides personal care to patients including assisting the patient with bathing, dressing, care of skin and hair; changing beds; assisting with toilet needs; and overseeing patient exercise routines

- Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*

- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program

- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC

- Current CPR and First Aid certification

- Excellent written and oral communication

- Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset

- Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long term care and nursing a big asset.

Pay: From $32.84 per hour

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Weekends as needed

Experience:
* Senior care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
* BCCNM Registry Number. Please provide. (required)
