The Agricultural Process Engineer will develop into GoodLeaf’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fertigation Systems, responsible for supervising the design, installation, modification and support of these systems across all farms. This encompasses, but is not limited to, water handling, water treatment and disinfection, nutrient delivery, domestic water supply, sanitation systems, and wastewater management.

Gaining a deep understanding of the theories driving our methods of water treatment, disinfection, plant irrigation and wastewater management
Supporting ongoing operations in our farms across Canada, including leading Root Cause Analyses for all Fertigation System challenges and failures
Lead the design of new installations under the direct leadership of the Director Engineering, Construction & Network Development

Support operations at the St-Hubert farm as the resident engineering resource to:

Advise the Farm Manager and Head Grower in the safe and efficient operation of the farm
Assist the Farm Technical Manager in investigating and addressing technical matters
Function as a Project Manager for continuous improvement activities in that farm across all technical disciplines

Acquérir une compréhension approfondie des théories qui sous-tendent nos méthodes de traitement de l'eau, de désinfection, d'irrigation des plantes et de gestion des eaux usées.
Soutenir les opérations en cours dans nos fermes à travers le Canada, notamment en menant des analyses des causes profondes pour tous les défis et défaillances du système de fertigation.
Diriger la conception de nouvelles installations sous la direction directe du directeur de l'ingénierie, de la construction et du développement du réseau.

Soutenir les opérations à la ferme de St-Hubert en tant que personne-ressource en matière d'ingénierie :

Conseiller le directeur de la ferme et le chef de culture sur l'exploitation sûre et efficace de la ferme.
Aider le directeur technique de la ferme à enquêter sur les questions techniques et à y répondre.
Faire office de chef de projet pour les activités d'amélioration continue dans cette ferme, dans toutes les disciplines techniques.

in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated understanding of process control methodologies, with working knowledge and understanding of measurement instruments, PLC, SCADA, etc…
Experience with the installation, modification and support of water and chemical handling systems
AutoCad preferably with P&ID experience
Bilingual, French / English, is mandatory

Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des systèmes de tuyauterie industrielle.
Compréhension avérée des méthodes de contrôle des procédés, avec une connaissance pratique et une compréhension des instruments de mesure, des automates programmables, du système SCADA, etc.
Expérience de l'installation, de la modification et de l'assistance de systèmes de traitement de l'eau et des produits chimiques.
AutoCad, de préférence avec une expérience en P&ID
Le bilinguisme, français/anglais, est obligatoire.
