North Vancouver Island Hospital was built in 2017 with state-of-the-art amenities. This 95-room hospital features on-site workout facilities, a 'Food Forest' lounge, and sweeping ocean views from many staff lounges and patient rooms.
*About Campbell River:*
Campbell River is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World,” Campbell River is a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts but it also offers outdoor activities like cold water diving, hiking local trails, and experiencing nature close to home. The hospital serves over 35,000 residents, providing essential health care services in this picturesque region.
Campbell River is located on the unceded, traditional territories of the Ligwiłda'xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations. This land is also home to the Ayajuthem-speaking people of the Homalco, Klahoose and K’omoks First Nations.

*The Role*
Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. The Licensed Practical Nurse (Registered Practical Nurse) plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the CRNBC Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.

*Qualifications*
_Education, Training, and Experience_
Current, practicing membership with BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Two years recent related experience in a clinical setting where relevant LPN/RPN nursing skills and theoretical knowledge have been applied.

Pay: $32.84-$44.96 per hour
