OB Hospitalist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine seeks dynamic Board Certified/Board Eligible OB Hospitalist to join South Shore University Hospital on Long Island as we expand our Women’s Health services across the health system.

South Shore University Hospital is the eastern most tertiary hospital for Northwell Health, located 30 miles east of NYC in Bay Shore, New York. This 305-bed hospital is rapidly growing in size with plans to potentially expand to over four hundred beds. Comprising 2,500 deliveries per year, South Shore University Hospital has become a regional destination for high-quality care on Suffolk County’s south shore. Due to open in 2022, Northwell Health’s Women and Infant’s Center at South Shore University Hospital will contain 29 private rooms and a 16-bay neonatal intensive care unit. South Shore University Hospital is an important academic teaching center for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, providing residencies and fellowships in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
