Role: Senior Project Manager

Duration: 138 days + 138 days possible extension

Security Clearance: Secret

Location: On-site at Ottawa, ON

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a technical discipline such as aviation, science or engineering.
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent qualification.
  • Must have at least two years experience working within a 1st or 2nd line aircraft maintenance organization conducting aircraft maintenance functions, to ensure they are familiar with aircraft maintenance operations within a hangar and airworthiness policy.
  • Must have at least two years of experience working within a flight test organization, conducting engineering and/or developmental flight test.
  • Must have implemented large projects with military, aviation (i.e. acquisition of an aircraft, aircraft simulator or aircraft parts) and infrastructure (i.e. real property / buildings) aspects, where the Resource was responsible for the development of project documents, risk mitigation plan, project budget and project reports (status and progress) to the Senior Management.
