Under the direction of the Community Care Program Manager, implements rehabilitation services to clients with developmental disabilities in the community including rehabilitation assessment, treatment and interventions, recommendations for specialized medical equipment and environmental modifications; education to caregivers and referrals to appropriate community resources.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Prince George Prince George is the centre of business, education, health and culture for northern British Columbia and services a rural population of about 300,000. The city itself is the 4th largest in British Columbia and has a population of approximately 82,300 local residents and a service centre for nearly 320,000. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program. Two years experience in acute care, long term care facility or community setting
• Previous experience in providing services to clients with developmental disability
• Community experience and previous experience with assessment for specialized wheelchairs, seating systems and technical aids.
Class 5 driver's license, use of personal vehicle.
