Primary Function: To pick and pack Customer orders, pick production assembly orders and fill Kanban bins.

Essential Functions/Position Requirements

  • Work from written or verbal instructions from Coordinator, system generated picking documents and established work routines.
  • Pick and pack materials, finished goods for shipment to Satellites and other customers. Consolidate shipment in designated areas. Ensure packaging requirements are met to eliminate possible damage during transportation.
  • Pick and deliver material for production orders, deliver to designated workstations and store according to proper sequence and coding.
  • Pick material to fill Kanban bins in workstations or deliver Kanban components from feeder to assembly workstations.
  • Utilize lifting devices and carts to locate, move and deliver materials.
  • Perform cycle counting, ensuring accurate count.
  • Ensure accuracy of parts and quantity based on documentation, scanners and Oracle systems.
  • Handle internal inquiries and provide assistance in locating materials.
  • Provide input and recommendations to improve effectiveness of work area.
  • Inform Coordinator of potential production or material concerns, including delay in shipment.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to co-workers as required.
  • Utilize numerous functions of Oracle on daily basis to fulfil warehouse responsibilities.
  • Maintain Daily 5S responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education

  • Interpretation of basic instruction, written information.
  • 3 - 6 months warehouse material handling experience.
  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and database management.
  • Experience with Scanners for use in a Warehouse environment.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Prior experience on truck loading principles.

Licensed Electrical Truck Operator with Fall Arrest certification

Education: HS Diploma/GED Required.
