Project Planner

Support Planning and Scheduling activities.
Prepare project schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
Identification and explanation of variances between the current schedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communication to the Project Controls Manager and Project Manager.
Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle.
Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead.
Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.

5+ years of relevant cost control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
~ Proficient in MS Office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
~ Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
~ Expert Knowledge of project management techniques and a number of years of hands-on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing, and reporting.
~ Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
~ Strong knowledge of the general project control policies and procedures.
~ Solid report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
~ Ability to work with staff, and build and maintain good working relationships with the Project Controls team.
~ Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with project cost controller.
