Company DescriptionBoundary Bay Specialty Veterinary Hospital is a veterinary specialty, emergency, and critical care hospital located in Surrey, BC. We are a VECCS Certified Level 1 facility and a VetCOT Level II Trauma Center. Our mission is to provide personalized specialty veterinary care and improve the lives of our patients and their families. We are an independently owned, collaborative, and team-oriented hospital, with a fully established oncology department. Our oncology department has a large and diverse caseload that will more than accommodate three oncologists. Walk into this fully established practice and have access to fully trained oncology and imaging teams. There is a dedicated oncology suite that houses rooms for our USP-800-standard chemotherapy preparation room, chemotherapy treatment room, procedures area, and oncology doctors’ office. Chemotherapy is administered by our very experienced oncology technicians. We are always improving, learning, and growing as individuals, as a team, and as an organization.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist at Boundary Bay Specialty Veterinary Hospital in Surrey, BC. The Veterinary Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animals with cancer, providing radiation therapy and chemotherapy, and working closely with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. The Veterinary Oncologist will also be involved in providing consultations and support to pet owners.Your day-to-day will include:The medical and surgical management of oncology patients.
