MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Toronto for a nationally recognized mechanical engineering firm. With offices across Canada, including Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, and Kelowna, we specialize in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design for various sectors such as commercial, healthcare, institutional, residential, and mixed-use high-rise projects.
A portfolio of exciting and challenging projects

We are dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in mechanical engineering.
Lead and delegate tasks for projects of various sizes
# Provide technical guidance to clients and collaborate with project sub-consultants
# Mentor and review the work of Mechanical Designers and Intermediate Engineers
# Analyze design proposals, select mechanical equipment, and prepare schematic design
# Coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines, track project progress, and manage budgets
# Assist in contract administration by reviewing shop drawings and addressing RFIs

Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 6 years of experience as a Professional Engineer
# Comprehensive understanding of building systems and their interplay with mechanical systems
# Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in software programs like Microsoft Word, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and REVIT
# Capable of hands-on design work without direct project management oversight
