Join our team. Job Profile

We are seeking an ambitious and hard-working Shipper/Receiver to be a part of our Parts Department. This person will be responsible for order picking, monitoring inventory levels, loading, and unloading shipments and working closely with couriers. Our perfect candidate will be detail oriented, customer focused and safety conscientious.

Wage: $22-$27 /hour

#applytoday Job Duties
  • Loading and unloading shipments from couriers using forklift
  • Ensure accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Be the main point of contact for couriers and freight companies.
  • Receive orders into Eclipse system and update internal customers on arrival.
  • Distribute material to proper departments and put stock away.
  • Complete order picking and branch transfers
  • Ensure parts and supplies are issued out properly
  • Assist in inventory spot and cycle counts.
  • Follow all DFI safety policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a shipper/receiver role
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Outlook and data entry experience
  • Safety conscious
  • Detailed and result driven.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects
