CCTV Operator

Reporting to the Superintendent, a CCTV Inspection Operator is responsible for working with a work crew or workgroups involved in a variety of work projects. The work includes directing and assisting work crews, ensuring the quality and completeness of work performed, and assisting in the overall efficiency of project operations.
Video, record, and document the condition and location of underground pipelines with a CCTV inspection truck.
Perform pressure tests, flushing and disinfection of pipe. Be familiar with the operations of water and sewer systems, valves, manholes, apparatuses, etc.
Direct and supervise the activities of a Locator who will assist with project tasks.
Complete and submit required reports and project data on a regular basis.
Plan and execute projects in an efficient manner without direct oversight at all times.
Be aware of changes to materials and techniques. Work with a variety of hand/ power tools used in underground utility, variety of heavy construction equipment and a variety of new and salvage materials.
Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
Valid Alberta Class 3 Operators license with Q endorsement and clean Driver’s Abstract (as per Company policy).
Proficiency with pipe inspection programs, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Note: We promote a safe work environment with a substance testing program.
Note: Seasonal Position - Relocation is required to Grande Prairie for the duration of the season.
