We are seeking an accomplished, self-driven, lead from the trenches go-getter executive to helm our client's operations and future growth. Specializing in vertically integrated transportation equipment leasing solutions encompassing truck and trailer rentals, leasing, custom manufacturing, and maintenance services to recession-resistant tier I customers across North America, our client offers a dynamic opportunity at the forefront of the industry.
This CEO position is based in the Ottawa area and offers a hybrid flexible working model .

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company to make the company a cost leader, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
Leverage existing relationships with top grocery and retail chains in the Canadian marketplace to expand business opportunities and drive profitable growth
Initiate and lead negotiations for new long-term contracts, while diversifying client roster, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring sustainable business success
Deliver on company's financial performance at or exceeding the plan, preparing annual budgets, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Take full accountability for P&L with performance assessed through select KPIs
Build and lead a high-performing executive team, leading by example and fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, excellence and continuous improvement

Proven senior management track record of delivering growth and creating Enterprise Value (EV) through operational excellence, in the trailer and/or truck leasing industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and operational requirements
Established ‘C’ level relationships with top staples, grocery and retail chains in the Canadian marketplace
Extensive experience in negotiating and securing long-term contracts
Engineering/technical qualifications; Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA considered an asset, but not necessary.

Compensation Structure: At or above market competitive salary, with a progressive variable comp program.
