Located in and around the City of Timmins, Ontario, Porcupine has two underground and one open pit mines. A continuous operation for over 100 years that provides a great work-life balance. Purpose:- Responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on underground and surface stationary equipment.
- Responsible for compliance with OHSA, Corporate and PGM Environmental Regulations, Safety and Sustainability Standards.
- Responsible to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within the department and cross-department.
- Must be highly motivated, organized and must be capable of decision-making.
- Responsible for providing his/her own tools.
- Assisting in other works areas may be required.
- Responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on underground and surface stationary equipment.

Training & Experience:
- Must be a certified Industrial Mechanic-Millwright.
- Good knowledge of compressors, pumps and hoisting plant including conveyance, ropes, loading stations and shaft work, rail equipment and hydraulic system such as rock breaking
- system.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
- High level of organizational skill.
- Be technically competent
- Willing to learn
- Basic computer skills are preferred

Working Conditions:
Timmins, ON. In this role, you will work a 5x5x4 schedule. As such, if you do not live near the site, we will
require you to relocate.
