Baby Sales Associate

*Job Summary*We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and will possess strong communication skills. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.*Responsibilities*- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment.- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction.- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of service.*Skills*- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.- Experience with POS systems and cashiering processes is preferred.- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of customers.- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation.- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.Join our team as a Sales Associate and contribute to creating memorable shopping experiences for our customersJob Types: Part-time, SeasonalContract length: 4 monthsPay: From $17.20 per hourBenefits:* On-site parking* Store discountShift:* Evening shiftWork days:* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededEducation:* Secondary School (preferred)Experience:* sales: 1 year (preferred)* Customer service: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:* Serving It Right (preferred)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 2024-10-06
