The Job

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a key member of the firm, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of real estate matters, including residential and commercial transactions, leasing agreements, property development, and land use planning. You will support one Senior Lawyer, who you will directly report to, and you will have the support of Law Clerks to assist with your caseload.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Handling a high volume of real estate files with diligence and expertise.
  • Contributing to the residential real estate portfolio.
  • Embracing a dynamic work environment with high caseload volume.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other real estate documents.
  • Advising clients on legal matters related to real estate.
  • Representing clients in real estate matters.
  • Providing legal support and guidance to other team members as needed.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in real estate laws and regulations.

As the ideal candidate, you'll come equipped with:

  • British Columbia Lawyer License
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in handling real estate files
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team
  • Hunger and drive for career growth and development
  • Experience with MS Office, conveyancer/unity, Teraview and PCLaw.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to provide constructive feedback in a manner that results in improved company performance
  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly resourceful with a solution-focused attitude
