Monday to Friday 
Shift 
As an integral member of the Medical Day Clinic team, the Clerical Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: registration of patients, entering patient demographics into Meditech, verifying and updating medical insurance benefits, directing and coordinating communication in and out of the department, processing physician orders, requesting appointments for clinics, coordinating diagnostic tests, and other appointments.
The Clerical Associate must maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
Medical Office Administration program diploma required
Medical Terminology certiciate required
Computer experience required
Recent experience with the Meditech system modules, including Community Wide Scheduling required
