You’ll join a team at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an Application Design Lead , within Capital Market’s Technology, specifically within the Regulatory Technology team, you will lead design activities of for a complex ecosystem of regulatory reporting applications. You’ll oversee the ideation and implementation of scalable, robust and performant solutions that enhance the client experience. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application design activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead and actively participate in the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Relationship Management – Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement business process applications.
You can demonstrate experience with: 5+ years of hands-on software design and implementation. Experience creating comprehensive design documentation. Hands on experience designing and developing applications and technical expertise with C#, .Net, SQL, Python, Web API, MVC, Entity Framework, REST, React, Elasticsearch. Good understanding of SOLID Design principles. Good understanding of DevOps methodology. Experience working in an Agile setup. It’s an Asset if: you have previously supported a Capital Markets client group.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
