Due to their development plans, they are adding a Commercial Market Manager who will be selling directly to new and existing Manufacturing Representatives and Wholesale Distributors across British Columbia while also dealing with end-users, contractors, owners, and engineers.
The ideal candidate is someone technically inclined, with a strong understanding of manufacturing & specification processes, and a proven track record of successfully selling industrial products to a distribution network.
This a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work alongside the company’s counterpart in the United States and gaining exposure to the whole North American market. A hybrid model (combination of office and remote work) will be offered as well. Develop and execute detailed sales strategies spanning annually, quarterly, and monthly periods to propel market initiatives forward
Cultivate relationships with end users, contractors, owners, and engineers, nurturing long-term partnerships
Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to stay abreast of market trends
Conduct installation demonstrations, site visits and application reviews to ensure best practices are followed
Monitor market trends and provide insightful reports to management
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com for project tracking and client management
Post-secondary education and 5+ years of experience in an outside sales role, ideally within the industrial sector
Proficiency in computer applications and programs, including Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and ability to lift 50lbs
In-depth knowledge of sales channels and competitors' products
Exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills
