Position Summary Responsible for a timely response to the production line to ensure raw components are stocked and available to the production team members. Responsible for ensuring a quick response in removing finished goods from the line and accurately storing them in finished goods. Responsible for material handling to various areas in the plant while ensuring that the established material flow is maintained. Responsible for following the ACI Kanban system. Safe operation of forklifts to ensure efficient flow of materials Position Responsibilities Responsible for following standardized work to ensure smooth internal logistics flow of material to & from the production line, with R/M & F/G's to ensure no line down conditions occur due to material flow issues Responsible to pick orders accurately & follow std work Ensure proper safety checks are done prior to operating any equipment Ensure dock procedures & safety checks are done prior to loading / unloading shipping or receiving trucks Responsible for keeping pedestrian pathways and traffic areas clear. Responsible for daily 5S. Essential Skills and Experience Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role. Minimum 1-2 years forklift driving in fast pace environment Beneficial Skills and Experience Certified Fork Lift License Manufacturing experience in an automotive, Tier 1 environment is desired. Familiarity with various shipping methods and shipping documentation.
