PTW is hiring an ELECTRICAL PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
PTW is hiring an ELECTRICAL PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT to join our team in Lower Mainland, BC. We are looking for qualities such as leadership, confidence, safety focus, and being calm under pressure. In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site focusing on the mechanical and electrical scopes of work. If you are a licensed industrial electrician with strong problem-solving skills and can provide operational leadership to our team, we want to hear from you
Site based position
Driver's license required
Flexibility for overnight trips is a real asset
Initiate, coordinate, direct, and schedule site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
# Assist with the optimizations of mechanical and electrical design drawings.
# Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts.
# Monitor the overall progress of the project and take corrective action where necessary.
# Maintain a good working relationship with customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
# Assist with commissioning process, building turnover, and closeout documentation.

Effectively provide overall supervision, coordination, and scheduling of construction activities and consistently complete projects on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
A degree and/or related trade experience in Electrical and Instrumentation industrial installations.
~10 years' experience in the construction industry working with contractors with relevant work experience in a similar role.
~ In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and how they integrate with construction elements.
~ Be capable of reading and understanding Instrument, Electrical, and P&ID drawings.

Demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration. A strong leader and problem-solver, you are able to build and steward trust with clients, subcontractors, and team members to effect competitive excellence and pride in teamwork with outstanding project delivery. Sound knowledge of construction and building techniques is required.
