Magnet is helping our client, a privately owned CPG Food Organization, look for a Senior Brand Manager, Innovation to join their team and lead a new business venture for the company.
In the role of Senior Brand Manager, Innovation - you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a new strategic growth category for the business through licensing agreements with leading global CPG manufacturers. This individual will lead the innovation pipeline and deliver both topline and bottom-line growth for the portfolio. In addition to developing the category growth strategy, you will be accountable for leading the annual business and marketing plan on a go-forward basis.

Lead strategic planning process and be the product development owner for a new business in the Canadian market
Develop a robust 3-year innovation pipeline for the category, leveraging consumer insights, category & competitive trends and identify white space opportunities with an emphasis to win across retail
Oversee the development and execution of marketing plan including pricing, activation plans, sales material, packaging, product assortment/distribution
Measure performance and conduct post analysis of launches to apply learnings to future innovations

5+ years Brand Management experience in CPG (innovation & food experience a must)
~ Critical thinker, strategic orientation, ownership mentality, strong project management skills.
~ Experience working with Product, Marketing and Sales Leaders at all levels of the organization.
