Accountable for asset performance in relation to sites OEE program
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to manage and direct capital projects
Knowledge of information systems and CMMS
Accountable for fulfilling TSSA requirements for pressure piping repairs
Ability to review welding procedures, NDT reports, and piping specifications, and take necessary actions as needed.
Develop/implement and manage mechanical integrity program for piping systems and related accessories (piping, valves, expansion joints, insulation joints, PSVs, hoses, steam traps, rupture discs etc)
Support Maintenance team on repair planning for critical equipment failures
Active involvement in site OEE program and maintaining equipment Bad Actors List
Conduct root cause failure analysis on major equipment failures and manage improvement action items
Perform equipment criticality analysis and ensure adequate spare parts for all critical assets
Interpret reliability data and provide guidance on failure mitigation/reliability improvement plans
Actively engage in capital projects to ensure proper equipment selection and installation
Execute projects related to equipment or process changes for improved asset reliability
Long-lasting excellent customer relations, self-dependent working, and a variety of tasks in one of the world's leading chemical companies.
Mechanical Engineer with P. 5 years of chemical plant experience
~ Experience with API standards 570, 650, 653, 620 (these 3 standards are for storage tanks)
~ Experience with CMMS (preferably SAP)
~ Planning, problem solving and communication
~ Abide by safety, quality and all other site policies and procedures
