Drive product innovation as a Product Development Engineering Manager, leading a multi-disciplinary team in creating loading dock and material handling solutions. Collaborate with various departments to ensure product safety and effectiveness. In this critical role, you will lead the product development engineering team, mentoring and guiding them to achieve project goals and quality standards. You will oversee project management tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively across functions. This position also demands the establishment of engineering best practices to improve product lines and ensure manufacturability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team for optimal performance
- Plan and prioritize product development initiatives
- Monitor project status and resource allocation
- Review engineering specifications and drawings
- Drive continuous improvement across product lines
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 4+ years in engineering, preferably in industrial products
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and project management
- Experience in Lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
