With our continued success, we are seeking a Project Engineer to focus on our land development and municipal engineering projects and who is energetic to grow with the engineering design team. What you bring to the role: 7+ years of experience, of which 3+ years is as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in Ontario. Familiarity with local design standards (e.g. DGSSMS), MECP guidelines and standards, OPS, and other applicable legislation and standards. A self-starting, confident individual, with strong technical skills in municipal design and construction, sewer design, road reconstruction, and stormwater management. Extensive experience with stormwater management software design tools. Proven experience in design reviews – reviewing and directing the technical aspects of our projects. A keen desire to learn and grow in an open learning environment, and willingness to wear multiple hats. Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills. Excellent written and oral communication What will you do: Manage all technical aspects of various land development (subdivision and/or site plan) projects. Coordinate technical issues with other project personnel, direct design staff, and work well with our project managers to ensure the project exceeds our client’s expectations. Be responsible for ensuring project quality and value and provide innovative project solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Support the Firm through business development and networking opportunities. Work closely with the Manager, Design Services to improve product quality and streamline internal processes.
